I have been programming professionally for over 20 years. While I love what I do, I see some strong issues with how the industry has grown forward. Many of these failings are in the interview process, many of them are once you have started a new job.
This site has been created because I have helped many people who wish to become software engineers. Their stories are all similar, and I find that I have been giving the same advice over and over again.
One thing I want to be clear on. There is no hack that will get you a position. I am hoping to help you understand the processes and themes I understand over time, not trick anyone. Please be honest with yourself, and any companies with whom you wish to apply.
